Mobile Notary
We come directly to the patient's bedside — same-day and after-hours. Power of attorney, advance directives, and legal documents notarized on-site without leaving the hospital.

Our mobile notary comes directly to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and meets you wherever you need — at the patient's bedside, in the ICU waiting area, or any accessible spot in the hospital. Whether the signer is a patient recovering from surgery who urgently needs a power of attorney, a family member handling financial documents during a hospital stay, or staff witnessing a healthcare directive — we bring the notary to you.
MedStar Georgetown is one of DC's largest hospitals with over 600 beds across multiple buildings including the new Verstandig Pavilion. We know the layout and can navigate to any floor or unit quickly so your notarization is handled without delay

Yes. As long as the patient is conscious, understands the document, and can communicate their intent, we can notarize at the bedside. Physical limitations like casts, IVs, or limited mobility do not prevent notarization. If the patient cannot physically write, a signature by mark (X) is legally valid with proper witnesses. Our notary assesses the signer's awareness upon arrival to ensure everything meets DC legal requirements.
Same-day service is standard. We can typically arrive within 2-4 hours of your call. We are available 7 days a week, including evenings and holidays. For genuine emergencies, we prioritize hospital visits. Call us directly at (202) 247-0837 or submit a free document pre-check and we will confirm everything within 24 hours.
Most hospitals do not have a dedicated notary available to patients and visitors. Even facilities with staff who are commissioned notaries typically handle only internal medical documents. For power of attorney, real estate closings, advance directives, and other personal legal documents, you need a mobile notary. We come directly to MedStar Georgetown, same-day, including evenings and weekends.
We accept credit cards, Zelle, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash, checks, and other secure online payment options. Final pricing is provided after we review your documents.
