The routing decides everything

Two documents. Two different chains.

The most common reason UAE attestation gets rejected is wrong routing. Personal and educational documents pass through one more authority than corporate documents do. Here is exactly where yours goes.

Path A

Personal & Educational Documents

Birth & marriage certificates, diplomas, transcripts, FBI background checks, personal power of attorney.

1
Secretary of State
issuing state
β†’
2
US Dept. of State
Washington, DC
β†’
3
Pay UAE MoFA
online + receipt
β†’
4
Submit to VFS Global
Embassy + MoFA attest

β†’ English translation required before the US Dept. of State step if the document is not in English. The MoFA payment receipt must be submitted together with the documents.

Path B

Corporate Documents Fastest via us

Articles of incorporation, certificates of good standing, board resolutions, commercial invoices, business power of attorney.

1
Secretary of State
issuing state
β†’
β€”
US Dept. of State
not required
β†’
2
Pay UAE MoFA
online + receipt
β†’
3
Submit to VFS Global
Embassy + MoFA attest

β†’ Corporate documents skip US Dept. of State entirely β€” one fewer step, no English translation required (they may already be in Arabic), and the fastest path we run.

  • This service is amazing! I wish I had known about it sooner. I had a document to be used abroad that needed to be notarized AND needed an apostille. It’s not so hard to find a notary but for anything more complicated, Aziz can get it done with a minimum of effort on the client’s part. He picked up the document, handled the legalizations process and returned the document to me. And in less than 24 hours! The consulate, which was my only other option had a ridiculous wait time to even get an appointment, Β not to mention they were going to charge me three times what Aziz did. His rates are reasonable and he is super-professional and efficient! He saved me so much time and navigated the whole process seamlessly for me. Β I highly recommend him and will no doubt be calling on him again in the future.

  • DC Mobile Notary was fantastic. Super easy to schedule and super flexible. Best prices I found as well. Danyar was quick, efficient, and super friendly. I’d absolutely use them again!

  • I was impressed with this company from start to finish, and I will definitely go to them again when I need a notary.First, it was super easy to set up the three appointments that I needed; the receptionist was able to confirm the appointments while I was on the phone with her. Β Second, the notary showed up right on time for all appointments, even in one city location during rush hour and where finding street parking was challenging. Β Even when I needed to change the location of one appointment at the last minute (from a Starbucks that wasn't open yet to a nearby restaurant), it was easy to reach the notary himself and work out the change with him. Β Third, the two notaries I dealt with were both professional in appearance and manner. Β Finally, company can cover DC, MD, and VA where I do business, and their price is reasonable.I'm very grateful that the paperwork went smoothly and was done properly. Β I'm a new fan of DC Mobile Notary.

  • Aziz of DC MOBILE Notary was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable with regard to services we needed to authenticate educational documents for use abroad. Β I will no hesitate to utilize his services again. In today's world of everything automated and voice bots, Aziz was a breath of fresh air, answers calls and emails without delays and works on finding solutions for his clients. Thanks Aziz.

What Is Kuwait Embassy Legalization (Attestation)?

Since Kuwait is not part of the Hague Apostille Convention, your U.S. documents must go through a multi-step authentication process before they can be recognized there. We manage every stage in person, ensuring your documents are 100% Kuwait-compliant and ready for official use.

Where DIY goes wrong

The rules that get documents rejected

The UAE Embassy rejects submissions that miss any mandatory requirement β€” and VFS service fees are not refundable when that happens. These are the traps we handle for you.

βœ• One seal per document

Never combine documents

Each document needs its own State Department seal. A board resolution and a distribution agreement cannot share one seal β€” combine them and the whole submission is rejected.

βœ• Accreditation required

Educational documents get verified

The issuing institution must be US-based and regionally accredited. Non-accredited or foreign-issued diplomas are commonly rejected. We confirm accreditation before we file.

βœ• Language

Non-English needs translation

Any document not in English or Arabic must be translated. For US documents processed through the Department of State, a certified English translation is required first.

βœ• Prior attestation

Skip a step, lose the fee

Documents must be authenticated by the correct US authorities before the embassy stage. Submit out of order and it is rejected β€” with the service fee gone.

Answers

UAE attestation, answered

Does the UAE accept an apostille?

No. For US documents used in the UAE, an apostille is not sufficient. The document must go through full legalization β€” US authentication, then UAE MoFA payment and submission to VFS Global, where the UAE Embassy and MoFA attest the document. We handle the entire process for you.

How is the document submitted to the UAE Embassy?

The UAE Embassy is not visited in person. After US authentication, the UAE MoFA fee is paid online and the payment receipt is submitted together with the documents to VFS Global β€” sent to the same location the payment was made for. The UAE Embassy and MoFA then attest the document. We manage all of this for you, and we submit to VFS Global on a regular weekly basis.

Can I combine multiple documents under one authentication?

No. Each document must carry its own State Department seal. Combining two documents β€” such as a board resolution and a distribution agreement β€” under a single seal will cause the UAE Embassy to reject the submission. We check this before anything is submitted.

How are personal and educational documents processed?

Personal and educational documents are authenticated by the Secretary of State in the issuing state, then by the US Department of State in Washington, DC. We then pay the UAE MoFA fee online and submit the receipt with your documents to VFS Global, where the UAE Embassy and MoFA complete the attestation. If the document is not in English, a certified English translation is required before the US Department of State step. We handle every stage for you.

How are corporate documents processed?

Corporate documents are authenticated by the Secretary of State in the issuing state, then we pay the UAE MoFA fee online and submit the receipt with your documents to VFS Global for UAE Embassy and MoFA attestation. Corporate documents skip US Department of State authentication entirely and do not require English translation, since they may already be in Arabic. This makes corporate the fastest path we run.

Do you notarize documents?

Yes β€” included in full-service packages or available separately.

Do you offer certified translation?

Yes β€” embassy-approved certified translation in Arabic and 20+ other languages.

What's the price?

Pricing depends on document type, number of pages, issuing state, and urgency. Contact us for a free quote β€” the embassy and MoFA fees are included, so your quote is all-in with no surprises.

Can I drop off documents in person?

Yes β€” by appointment in Washington, DC. Nationwide clients ship via UPS 2-Day Air.
